Alan Kitay is the Director of Grace Christian Counseling Ministries. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Christian Therapist and a Board Certified Christian Counselor. His experience includes over twenty-five years as an educator in both the private and public sectors and over eighteen years as a minister. In 1989, he was listed in Who's Who in American Education. Alan answered the call to the ministry in 1984. Since then he has served as an Evangelist, Assistant Pastor, and Christian Counselor. In addition to his work with GCCM, Alan teaches classes in Christian Counseling and conducts classes, seminars, and workshops teaching others how to apply Biblical principles to their lives. Alan Also serves as the Vice-President of the American Association of Christian Therapists.
Floyce Burrell is married with three grown sons. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Currently, she is finishing her Masters degree in Counseling. Floyce is a Certified Christian Counselor and a Board Certified Christian Therapist. Floyce has had a variety of ministry opportunities: In 1984, as co-pastor in New York, she began counseling with women and teenagers on the issues of marriage, spiritual growth, depression, and sexual abuse. She worked with Child Protective Services and ministered to sexually abused girls. Over the years, she has served in many different capacities: 15 years in children’s ministry, 7 years as a church worship leader, 5 years pastoring in New York, and 6 years as a prayer partner and leader in the prayer ministry at Lakewood Church in Houston. Currently, Floyce is the Administrative Director for Grace Christian Counseling Ministries. Her duties include: Advertising and public relations; organizing classes, paperwork, schedules and staff communications; financial issues, problem solving, encouragement, cheerleading, and making hot chocolate. For all of her hard work, especially making hot chocolate, Dr. Kitay is truly grateful.
John Peres is the Director of Marketing for Grace Christian Counseling Ministries. He has a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and is a Certified Christian Counselor and Board Certified Christian Therapist.
Brooke Mills has a Masters Degree in Psychology and is a Board Certified Christian Therapist. Her areas of specialization include working with Substance Abusers and Marriage and Family Counseling.
Ed Howard is a Certified Christian Counselor. He has been in the ministry for over 20 years and a counselor since 1998. Although his training and experience has prepared him to counsel the wide gamut of issues facing people, his primary focus has been on Marriage and Family counseling. He has been a Deacon for 30 years and currently is on the Board of Directors of Higher Dimensions Church in Houston, Texas.
